What is a money line bet? Moneyline betting is pretty straightforward and involves betting on who is going to win. Unlike points spread which is based on who wins and by how much, a moneyline bet does not consider points spread. Moneyline Bets: Positive Odds

Positive odds are assigned to the perceived underdog. Moneyline odds are often referred to as American or US odds. In this case, the higher the positive number, the lower the team is on the totem pole.
