2-Person A X B Multiplier, using USGA Handicap

This is a 2- person team event (recommend one flight if field is fewer than 24 players). You count the net balls of both team members on each hole. To determine the team's score for a hole, you multiply the net score of Player "A" by the net score of Player "B". Example: Hole #1 Player A scores a net 4 while his/her playing partner scores a net 6. The team score on that hole is 24 (4x6=24) Hole #2 Player A scores a net 7 while his/her playing partner scores a net 3. The team score for that hole is 21 (7x3=21) Scorekeeper, you will find it helpful if you record the net score for each player and use the third line to record the Multiplier score.

It is recommended that team members be within 6 handicap strokes of one another and, if the field is fewer than 24 players, only one flight.

2-Person Stableford Handicap Event - Blind Draw

This is a 2-person blind draw Stableford Handicap event. At the end of the round the event coordinator will conduct a blind draw to determine who will be your partner. Then the Stableford points of each partner will be added together to determine the overall Winner.

Stableford points are earned on each hole based upon the following:

4 Points Net Birdie

8 Points Net Eagle

Trifecta

AKA: A Day @ the Track

This is a 2-person team event played under three different golfing formats. This is an open field event. Teams with handicaps higher than the norm will start the round between 1 and 3 under par. Use the swag method of handicapping these team.

Holes 1 thru 6 - Scramble

Each 2-person team player will hit a tee ball and then will select their best positioned ball to hit their second shot. The teams third best position shot will then be selected and each will hit from that spot, and so on and so until the team holes its putt. You have 1-club length to position your ball no near the hole, and you may use the preferred ball lie rule.

Holes 7 thru 12 - Alternate Shot

Each 2-person team player will hit a tee ball and then will select their best position ball to hit their second shot. The players whose ball was selected shall not hit the next shot; his/her playing partner will hit the second shot. The alternate partner will hit the third shot, and the team members will continue to take turns in a similar fashion until the ball is holed. You will play the ball as it lies. You will not replace your partner's ball with your own ball until you reach the green. Except when team member's tee off, only one ball is in play through the green.

Holes 13 thru 18 - Best Ball

The 2-person team members will play their own ball through the green. After the completion of the hole, the team members will record their best one ball low net score. Please refer to the score card to see if you and/or your partner receive strokes on holes 13 thru 18. This is the only leg of the trifecta where stokes are applicable.

From your second shot, and through the green, you play but one ball per shot. Best Ball - A blind draw will determine who you will have as a partner on holes 13 thru 18. The person drawn as your partner doesn't figure into your winnings.

Umbrella

This is a 2-person team game that plays for "Scotch Points" within a Foursome. Earned "Scotch Points" and the explanation of the "Umbrella" is found below. The game between partners may be played for the traditional $2 Nassau, or the partners may agree to place a monetary value on each "Scotch Point".

Up to 5-Scotch Points may be Earned on Each Hole

Hole #1

1 point for low ball

1 point for low 2-ball total

1 point for you hitting the green in regulation

1 point for your partner hitting the green in regulation

1 point for you or your partner getting a birdie

If a team sweeps all 5-Scotch Points on a hole they are deemed to have scored an "Umbrella" and the points double to 10. Note: if the opposing partners tie any point you cannot get an Umbrella. The "Umbrella" game becomes unique because the point value increases to match the hole number the foursome is playing. For example:

15 point for low ball

15 point for low 2-ball total

15 point for you hitting the green in regulation

15 point for your partner hitting the green in regulation

15 point for you or your partner getting a birdie

If a team sweeps all 5-Scotch Points on the hole they are deemed to have scored an "Umbrella," and the points double to 150. The foursome may agree to play the game without handicap, give one another strokes where they fall on the scorecard or handicap themselves off the low handicapper of the group.
