Welcome to IGN's GTA San Andreas walkthrough of High Stakes, Low Rider, the first mission given to you by Cesar Vialpando. This guide includes an update for the GTA: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition release for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Drive to Cesar's Location

To start this mission, you're going to need a Lowrider to compete in the race. Here's a list of Lowriders you can find in San Andreas:

Loading Play

Blade

Remington

Slamvan

Voodoo

Broadway

Savanna

Tahoma

Tornado

If you've kept the Lowrider given to you when you first meet Cesar in the mission Cesar Vialpando, then go ahead and use that car to enter the race. If not, check around Cesar's mission area or back at Grove Street to snag a Lowrider. Quick Tip: Go to the wrench symbol located on the map to mod your lowrider before starting the mission. Equip it with some nitro boost, and you'll win the race easily.

Once you reach Cesar's location, a cutscene will play.

Follow Cesar to the Starting Point to Begin the Race

After the cutscene ends, follow Cesar's car to the starting point of the race. Drive the car into the red marker to trigger the countdown. From here, you'll be pitted against five other racers. Activate your nitro and speed through the sections where it's just a straight-line drive. When you get to a turn, make sure you break and then accelerate. You're going to want to take it slow on the turns. Follow the red markers on your screen to stay in the race. If you look closely, you'll see an arrow inside the red markers that tell you where you need to go next.

With your nitro, you should be able to breeze through the race.

The race ends at Santa Maria Beach, and you're given $1000 for winning. And that's it! You've completed the mission.
