As per the NFL's Collective Bargaining Agreement, each member of the winning team will receive $150,000. This is paid as a cash bonus and sees a $20,000 rise on the 2020 bonus.

The consolation prize

The CBA also stipulates that each member of the losing team receive $75,000, or exactly half the amount of the champions bounty.

The eligibility of exactly who receives this bonus is laid out as follows:

Full bonus

Players on the team's active or inactive list when the Super Bowl is played that have been on the roster for at least three previous games (regular season or playoffs). Players who are not on the team's active or inactive list when the Super Bowl is played, but have been on the roster for at least eight previous games (regular season or playoffs). Veteran players who were injured during the regular season and removed from the team's active or inactive list, provided they are still under contract when the Super Bowl is played.
