Reaching the Super Bowl is considered the pinnacle of the NFL world. Winning a title is what all players would consider the goal above all others when they enter the league. The ring is no doubt the best part for players about winning the big game. But the paycheck certainly doesn't hurt either. Whether players win or lose, they come away with a bonus just for reaching the game.

How much do NFL players make for winning Super Bowl?

The latest collective bargaining agreement in the NFL outlines that the players on the winning team will receive $150,000 for winning the game. That is a $20,000 increase from last season's game. The biggest payday currently in the CBA will come in 2030, when players on the winning team can earn $228,000. Both Rams and Bengals players have already pocketed a decent amount of bonuses. As division winners, they earned $42,500 for playing in the wild-card round, $42,500 for playing in the divisional round and $65,000 for playing in the conference championship. So these players have already taken home $150,000 each.

How much do NFL players make for losing Super Bowl?

The players that don't win the Super Bowl still come away with a little something to help ease the blow. Players will be set to earn a check for $75,000 if they do not win the Super Bowl. That would mean players would still wind up taking home $225,000 throughout the course of the postseason. League minimum for a player in the NFL is $660,000, so even for those players making the least in the league, they can still earn $885,000 throughout the course of the year.

What is Odell Beckham Jr.'s Super Bowl bonus?

Odell Beckham Jr. was signed midseason by the Rams after he was released by the Browns, and his contract is one of the few that features a bonus if the Rams win the Super Bowl. According to Spotrac, he would make $1 million with a Los Angeles win and $500,000 with a loss.
