Almost a quarter of sports bettors who participated in a recent survey believe they win 75% of the time, while nearly 40% of daily bettors are risking at least half their monthly paycheck. Sports Betting Report released data on a survey of over 1200 adult sports bettors with information on gender, how often people are wagering, where they’re betting and how often they say they win. According to the survey of American sports bettors, 24% said they place bets every day with 42% betting a couple days per week. Of those betting every day, 39% are betting at least half of their monthly paychecks. Most believe gambling is an extra income source. Women are more likely to wager daily than men (26% to 23%), but men have the edge when it comes to betting a few days per week (45% to 36%). Infrequent bettors are more careful with their bankroll. Over half of bettors who only wager a few times a month are risking less than 10% of monthly earnings. The answers regarding betting results is revealing into the mind of a gambler. Of daily bettors, 24% said they win ‘frequently’, which was classified as at least 75% of the time. Half of the responses said they win half the time.
