The maximum punishment for a RICO conviction is 25 years in federal prison and a substantial criminal fine. Criminal charges under Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act can carry a sentence in federal prison up to five years and a limited or lifetime ban on participation in any legal gambling activity.
