Let’s say someone places a 10-franc Asian bet on over 2.25. Five francs will be bet on over 2 goals and 5 francs on over 2.5 goals. If the game ends 1:1, exactly 2 goals will have been scored. For the first part of the bet (over 2 goals) the stake is paid back. The second part of the bet (over 2.5 goals) counts as lost because only 2 goals are scored. If fewer than 2 goals are scored both bets are lost, and for 3 or more goals both bets count as won.
