Tao started high school in the 1980s at age 7, earned a bachelor’s degree at age 16, and a doctorate at 21. In 2017, India Times reported that an 11-year-old girl living in the United Kingdom achieved a score of 162 on a Mensa IQ test. The publication also noted that Albert Einstein and Steven Hawking are both “thought” to have an IQ of 160.
